About the position

The Director of Real Estate Project Management at UJA is responsible for managing capital planning for a diverse portfolio of properties, including day camps, sleepaway camps, and community centers. This role involves overseeing UJA-driven capital projects, providing expertise to partner agency projects, and managing project consultant contracts. The Director collaborates with various departments and partners to ensure effective project execution and compliance with design standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital planning for UJA properties including day camps, sleepaway camps, and community centers.
• Serve as Project Manager for UJA-driven capital projects.
• Provide oversight and expertise to partner agency projects leasing properties from UJA.
• Oversee capital projects and lease renewals at UJA's regional offices.
• Plan, budget, and contract for UJA's property portfolio.
• Oversee bidding processes and contract awards for UJA-driven projects.
• Negotiate and administer capital construction projects for UJA-owned properties operated by independent agency partners.
• Evaluate feasibility of proposed new development projects and potential revenue-generating contracts.
• Coordinate with regional office executives for modifications and lease renewals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related project and property management experience.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Architecture, Engineering, or Real Estate Development.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong analytical skills and good written and oral communication skills.
