About the position

Center For Family Services is seeking a dedicated individual for the Director of Recruitment position. This role is pivotal in leading the development and implementation of strategic talent acquisition tactics that utilize both traditional and innovative sources. The Director will evaluate the entire recruiting function, strategies, and procedures to effectively fill open positions across the agency. This position is based in Voorhees, New Jersey, and is a full-time role that offers a competitive salary range of $75.1K - $95.1K annually, along with a sign-on bonus of $500 for new hires. The Director of Recruitment will be overall responsible for the recruitment initiatives and programming within the agency. This includes developing and managing partnerships with external recruitment-related vendors, strategizing recruitment efforts for various departments, and fostering networking relationships with community stakeholders, colleges, and universities. The role also involves managing virtual and onsite job/career fairs agency-wide, providing turnover reports, and developing retention programs to enhance employee satisfaction and reduce turnover rates. In addition, the Director will meet with the Assistant Vice Presidents and Vice Presidents to discuss challenges and barriers to recruitment, work on internship advertisements, and implement employer branding activities to promote awareness of Center For Family Services. Evaluating the agency's recruitment methods for sustainability and effectiveness, identifying spending, and managing placement contracts are also key responsibilities of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic talent acquisition tactics.
  • Evaluate the entire recruiting function, strategies, and procedures to fill open positions.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with external recruitment-related vendors.
  • Strategize recruitment for varying departments/sectors within the agency.
  • Develop networking relationships with community stakeholders, colleges, and universities.
  • Manage virtual and onsite job/career fairs agency-wide.
  • Provide turnover reports agency-wide and manage retention programs.
  • Develop reports to manage and reduce turnover.
  • Meet with AVPs and VPs to discuss challenges and barriers to recruitment.
  • Work on internship advertisements and employer branding activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area of study or commensurate experience in a relevant field may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in recruitment or human resources.
  • PHR or SHRM certification in a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting database systems and rewards programs.
  • Ability to leverage efficiencies in the use of technologies, workflows, and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a cross-functional setting.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to work comfortably with senior business leadership.
  • Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years.

Nice-to-haves
