About the position

The Director of Regional Marketing for Caesars Entertainment is responsible for overseeing, planning, and coordinating the execution of marketing strategies for a designated region. This role operates under the guidance of the Regional Vice President of Marketing and collaborates closely with property leadership to ensure that marketing initiatives align with corporate objectives. The director will develop monthly marketing calendars and yearly marketing plans, ensuring that the reinvestment strategy is effectively executed based on feedback and analytics from both corporate and property levels. In this position, the director will be involved in the development of expense and revenue budgets, working alongside property teams to meet financial targets. A key aspect of the role includes creating communication strategies tailored for each property and month, as well as analyzing business performance to provide actionable recommendations for optimizing marketing spend and campaign effectiveness. The director will also manage relationships across various marketing organizations, ensuring that strategies are integrated into monthly calendars and executed effectively. The director will oversee the execution of strategic marketing plans, guiding teams on loyalty programs, event planning, and communication strategies. This includes developing mail plans, coordinating with external vendors, and ensuring that marketing events are executed flawlessly. The role requires a strong focus on compliance, ethical behavior, and fostering a culture of integrity within the organization. The director will also be responsible for mentoring and developing marketing specialists and managers, ensuring that best practices are shared and implemented across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly marketing calendars and yearly marketing plans for properties.
  • Execute the reinvestment strategy based on corporate and property feedback.
  • Assist in developing monthly and yearly expense and revenue budgets.
  • Create communication strategy outlines for each month and property.
  • Review business performance and provide actionable recommendations for marketing campaigns.
  • Advise properties and GMs on marketing-related topics.
  • Develop marketing rationale for capital requests.
  • Drive innovation in marketing strategies and tools.
  • Manage relationships across all marketing organizations.
  • Coordinate with other marketing functions to integrate strategies into monthly calendars.
  • Oversee execution of strategic plans and marketing spend.
  • Provide guidance on loyalty programs, segmentation, and event planning.
  • Develop mail plans and layout guidance for approval.
  • Work with outside vendors and property teams to finalize marketing event details.
  • Identify opportunities for accurate execution of marketing strategies on property.
  • Approve creative, proforma, counts, and event setups.
  • Oversee day-to-day campaign lifecycle and POD teams.
  • Contribute to Pod development and improvements in processes and tools.
  • Hire, coach, and mentor marketing specialists and managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a senior marketing leadership position.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop working relationships with peers and coordinate activities with operating departments.
  • Ability to analyze competitive and internal financial information and develop measurable plans.
