About the position

The Director of Rehabilitation Services-Staffing Operations at Lutheran SeniorLife is responsible for overseeing staffing management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing quality rehabilitation services across various programs. This role emphasizes the importance of maintaining budgeted staffing levels, managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and coordinating departmental operations to enhance patient care and service delivery. The director will also engage in program development, case management, and staff supervision, contributing to the overall mission of promoting independence and wellness among clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staffing levels for all rehabilitation programs to meet budgeted targets.
  • Oversee the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise staff and coordinate the provision of quality rehabilitation services.
  • Develop and implement clinical programs at assigned sites annually.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with executive directors to ensure effective customer relationships and process flow.
  • Complete staffing requisitions, conduct interviews, and hire new staff as needed.
  • Maintain site-specific policy manuals and ensure compliance with HIPAA and licensing requirements.
  • Monitor and educate staff on site-specific regulation changes and continuing education requirements.
  • Facilitate new vendor contracts and maintain documentation related to vendor management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a therapy discipline (occupational, physical, or speech/language).
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training in a clinical licensed discipline, preferably with the senior population.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer software for documentation and communication, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Current PA licensure in rehabilitation.
