About the position

The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) at Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing inpatient therapy services. This position involves establishing policies and procedures, integrating patient care services, and ensuring the quality and profitability of rehabilitation programs. The DOR will provide direction and mentorship to clinical managers and staff, fostering the growth and development of rehabilitation therapy services within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the establishment of policies and procedures for all inpatient therapy services.
• Design and implement a framework to integrate and coordinate patient care services and program development.
• Direct daily operations of inpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.
• Ensure the design of patient care services is appropriate to the scope and level of care for patients served.
• Recruit, select, direct, and support the activities of Clinical Managers in the therapy departments.
• Develop programs to promote recruitment, retention, and continuing education of staff members.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapist required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association required for Speech discipline.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a therapist in an acute rehab setting.
• A minimum of five years supervisory experience required.
