About the position

The VP of Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of a diverse hospitality portfolio, focusing on driving operational excellence, maximizing profitability, and fostering a positive work environment. This role requires strategic leadership and a commitment to exceptional guest experiences across multiple restaurant concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies that align with the client's overall business objectives.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and develop effective labor strategies to optimize profitability across all concepts.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of operations leaders to ensure consistent execution of standards and procedures.
  • Drive operational efficiency by optimizing processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional guest service by setting high standards and empowering employees to deliver memorable experiences.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and launch new restaurant concepts that align with market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Develop and implement effective crisis management plans to address operational challenges and ensure business continuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior operations roles within the hospitality industry, preferably with a focus on multi-unit restaurant operations.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and financial performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L statements.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective labor strategies.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
