Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest complaints.
  • Administer performance appraisal process for direct reports.
  • Interview and hire employees with appropriate skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related area; OR a 2-year degree in Food Service Management or related field with 4 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Understanding of economic and accounting principles, including P&L statements and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage financial resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning.
  • Understanding of food production and presentation techniques.
  • Ability to manage material resources effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in luxury hospitality environments.
  • Familiarity with the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
