About the position

The Director of Sales and Marketing at Doubletree by Hilton Laredo is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue for the hotel. This position requires strong sales leadership, expertise in hotel sales, and the ability to build relationships with clients. The successful candidate will lead a team of sales professionals, collaborate with senior management, and ensure that guests enjoy an exceptional experience while meeting customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue from all market segments.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of the full-service hotel market.

  • Strong technical sales skills with the ability to understand complex products or services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficient in CRM/PMS software and Microsoft Office Suite-Delphi, OnQ.
