About the position

The Director of Sales and Marketing (DSM) will lead the organization's growth by overseeing daily operations across sales, marketing, and business development. This role is crucial for executing a strategic marketing plan to achieve pre-leasing and fill-up goals for a new development entrance fee community. The DSM will create a multi-channel marketing framework to enhance brand visibility and ensure a continuous flow of high-quality sales leads while evaluating the return on investment for marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Execute the strategic marketing plan to achieve pre-leasing and fill-up goals.
  • Create a multi-channel marketing framework to elevate brand visibility.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends to guide strategic decisions.
  • Market services to potential clients and key referral sources to grow market share.
  • Develop and implement community relation activities to enhance business development.
  • Keep Executive Director updated on changes and new services in the healthcare industry.
  • Perform market segmentation, targeting, and positioning for each service line.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the client relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of marketing communications with federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Manage and supervise the Sales and Marketing Department for various living services.
  • Complete and submit marketing and sales reports to the community and Home Office support.
  • Respond to and convert leads according to service line and Ministry guidelines.
  • Develop and implement a strategic annual sales and marketing plan.
  • Partner with the Home Office Creative Services Team for marketing materials.
  • Create excitement around securing entrance fee commitments during the pre-opening phase.
  • Lead efforts to meet or exceed pre-leasing occupancy goals.
  • Track and analyze occupancy rates and sales pipeline metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in sales, marketing, or business-related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the Senior Housing industry.
  • Elite communication skills.
  • Ability to connect with residents, prospective residents, family members, and associates meaningfully.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of $85,000 per year.
