About the position

The Director of Sales and Marketing at Signia by Hilton San Jose is responsible for leading the hotel's sales and marketing efforts, focusing on elevating its presence in the Silicon Valley market. This role involves developing and implementing innovative strategies to grow various market segments, including group, transient, and leisure, while ensuring alignment with Hilton's commercial objectives. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to drive performance and collaborate with a passionate team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy business strategies for the Americas.
• Lead the Hotel Sales and Marketing process to improve asset performance.
• Produce the hotel's Annual Multi-Year Commercial Strategy Plan in partnership with on-property leaders.
• Direct accountability for setting strategy and delivery of hotel revenues including group rooms, banquets, catering, and transient sales.
• Support hotel B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, and public relations activities.
• Work with Commercial Leaders to establish optimal business mix and validate revenue forecasts.
• Develop and execute departmental expense budget and forecasts.
• Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly Sales & Marketing Optimization Process for the hotel.
• Conduct performance reviews for all direct reports and provide feedback for dotted line reports.
• Facilitate a culture aligned with Hilton's DEI and ESG goals.

Requirements

• Leadership management Experience
• Ability to travel
• Experience in hotel management or related industry
• Highly professional presentations and communication skills
• Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office
• Ability to perform critical analysis
