About the position

The Director of Sales & Customer Success for Healthcare NAM is a strategic leadership role focused on driving sales and customer success in the healthcare sector through Real-Time Location Services (RTLS). This position requires a blend of healthcare industry expertise and sales management skills to enhance clinical workflows, improve patient care, and achieve organizational growth. The director will lead a high-performing sales team, develop sales initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare market.

Responsibilities

  • Drive healthcare RTLS sales through leadership of a high-performing sales team that can demonstrate measurable solution impact.
  • Create value propositions that align and resonate with clinical and operational stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales initiatives aligned with healthcare organization needs and strategic plan.
  • Achieve team revenue targets while maintaining strong customer relationships across healthcare systems.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities within the US healthcare market.
  • Create and maintain relationships with key healthcare system decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
  • Create competitive differentiation strategies, thought leadership, sales playbook development and training.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing healthcare sales team.
  • Establish and monitor healthcare-specific KPIs and sales metrics with the VP of Sales.
  • Drive team performance through effective coaching and leadership.
  • Analyze and evaluate sales team member results on a monthly and quarterly basis, taking immediate corrective action where necessary.
  • Plan and direct the hiring and training of new Sales Team members.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and projections.
  • Assist internal teams in handling and resolving customer issues.
  • Serve as one of the faces of the organization to internal and external partners.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in healthcare or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and inspire teams to achieve goals.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating high emotional intelligence in all interactions and engagements.
  • Comfortable using relevant business development tools, CRM systems, and technology platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience in the healthcare industry in the US.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare technology sales.
