About the position

In this opportunity as Director of Sales, FindLaw - NTO, you will be responsible for building strategy and leading a team of sales managers to achieve overall sales and revenue growth goals. Success in this role is achieved through driving performance accountability within the team and fostering effective partnerships with sales leadership and internal support teams such as marketing, commercial excellence, human resources, and finance. You will drive growth and sales of print and digital products, focusing on expanding current customer average order values and acquiring new customers. You will closely manage the sales and renewal pipeline health and development, establishing clear metrics and accountabilities, and implementing a rigorous sales process and coaching to create sales excellence. Collaboration is key, as you will build effective partnerships with sales leadership and internal support teams to ensure alignment and success. Additionally, you will lead a team of Regional Sales Managers in pipeline management, including accurately forecasting revenue and implementing effective growth and staging strategies. Utilization of all CRM systems and operational data will be critical in this role, as will active talent and succession pipeline management to ensure coverage of quotas and improve organizational effectiveness in client-centricity and customer value messaging. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate a fast-paced, rapidly changing technology environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA or JD preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience in sales.
  • 5+ years' experience in sales management.
  • Experience with digital marketing products is required.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on driving accountability.
  • Strategic thinking skills and effective account planning.
  • Sales negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing technology environment.
  • Knowledge of legal markets and online legal products preferred.
