Full-time - Mid Level
Tanner, AL

About the position

Join the team that is a leader in engineering, designing, and manufacturing of leading-edge military expeditionary products and rugged industrial/commercial products since 1937. HDT Global is seeking a Sales, Inventory, Operations & Planning (SIOP) professional who is eager to grow and make a significant impact on business success. This role is pivotal in managing the SIOP process, which includes facilitating demand planning discussions, translating demand into operational and supply chain unitary requirements, and developing operational capacity plans. The successful candidate will establish forecasts to suppliers, identify risks to production, and communicate expectations versus financial plans and customer expectations back to executive leadership. In this position, you will apply statistical analysis, business intelligence, and econometrics to develop demand plans for forecasting and production use. You will engage with Sales/Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the SIOP process, working to eliminate silos between functions through cross-functional collaboration. As a champion of step-change improvements, you will analyze product family levels, including average unit price, lead time, backlog management, capacity, inventory planning, and supply chain risk development. Additionally, you will develop and implement effective re-engineered and possibly automated SIOP processes to replace current manual processes. Establishing common metrics, data definitions, and business processes will be essential to support customer service, inventory, and demand/forecast improvements. You will document and maintain procedures and processes to ensure system and data accuracy and integrity, and support Site Leader resource/equipment/material decisions with SIOP analytics. Aligning with Sales/Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain on standard processes and guidelines for preferred parts management tied to Quick Ship and Make to Order products will also be part of your responsibilities.
