About the position

The Director of Sales & Marketing at Harmony at Douglasville is responsible for overseeing the community's marketing efforts to achieve or exceed budgeted census goals. This role involves developing marketing strategies, training staff on customer service and inquiry handling, and fostering community relationships to enhance the facility's visibility and appeal.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee internal and external marketing efforts to meet or exceed budgeted census.
  • Ensure building readiness and train staff on first impressions and telephone etiquette.
  • Develop quarterly marketing plans in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Complete marketing reports in a timely manner and lead internal marketing meetings.
  • Manage all inquiries personally and provide staff training for inquiry handling.
  • Ensure leadership availability for inquiries and tours in the absence of the Director.
  • Provide customer service training for new hires and annually for all staff.
  • Use lead tracking systems to document contacts with prospects and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Conduct external marketing calls and follow up on all leads.
  • Host community events and build relationships through networking groups.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Three years' experience as a marketing director in senior care.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a census and analyze data for marketing plans.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and complete projects on time.
  • Ability to establish relationships with prospective clients, families, and community groups.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; proficient in computer programs.
  • Flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends may be required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 25lbs.
