About the position

Agency Software is seeking an accomplished sales leader and manager to join our team as the Director of Sales & Marketing. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to help build out our department and influence customers and clients alike from a sales and business development perspective. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, has a proven record of sales success, and believes in improving the customer experience. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and success of an experienced sales team, ensuring that our strategies align with the overall business objectives and drive growth. In this role, you will craft and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that are designed to achieve our business objectives. You will establish and monitor key performance metrics to track progress and ensure a robust sales pipeline. Your leadership will inspire and guide a seasoned sales team through hands-on mentorship and coordinated engagements, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for building and implementing marketing strategies, including SEO, lead sources, and strategic territory management. Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will foster strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and other departments to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, you will oversee the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact. Emulating a best practice culture that includes experimentation and successive strategies will be essential to your success in this role. Travel will be required for participation in trade shows and occasional onsite events, including Harris events.
