About the position

The Director of Sales & Marketing at Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa is responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts of the luxury resort, focusing on revenue generation, client satisfaction, and team performance. This role requires a strategic leader who can motivate the sales team, manage catering operations, and represent the property to high-end clients and the community. The position also involves collaboration with the corporate marketing team to execute innovative marketing strategies and manage budgets and forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically lead, motivate, and train on-property and remote sales managers to drive group and incentive sales.
  • Manage the on-site catering team to ensure successful execution of groups and events.
  • Act as the face of the property for site tours, media, and community partnerships, presenting to high-end corporate meeting planners and other buyers.
  • Initiate and execute marketing activities in collaboration with the corporate marketing team.
  • Facilitate monthly and annual forecasts and budget planning.

Requirements

  • Previous management experience in an upscale or luxury, full-service hotel.
  • Open to candidates currently in Associate Director of Sales or those at larger resorts.
