About the position

The Director of Sales & Marketing at Aloft Oklahoma City Quail Springs is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize business opportunities. This role involves overseeing the sales team, managing client communications, and ensuring the hotel meets its revenue goals through direct sales and digital marketing efforts. The position requires a proactive approach to market research and client engagement, with a focus on enhancing the hotel's visibility and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff through effective oral and written communication.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate sales staff performance, providing guidance and resolving issues as necessary.
• Ensure regular training programs are conducted and Crescent standards of performance are met.
• Compile and direct the preparation of operational reports for the Sales Department, including forecasts and marketing budgets.
• Conduct ongoing research of the travel industry to identify market trends and develop new marketing strategies.
• Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Meet with and entertain clients, which may require travel.
• Provide clear verbal and written direction to the staff.
• Prepare and execute the annual Sales & Marketing Plan, adjusting as necessary based on market conditions.
• Organize and attend scheduled Sales Department meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitality B2B sales.
• Marriott Brand experience is highly desired.
• Business Transient experience is highly desired.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
