As the Director of Sales and Marketing at our hotel, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and ensuring the success of our sales and marketing initiatives. This position is essential for bringing in group and other business, and we are looking for a highly motivated and strategic individual with a passion for sales and marketing in the hotel industry. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest services as part of our Sales & Catering team, overseeing the hotel's sales function, and ensuring guest satisfaction by orchestrating remarkable experiences from the moment guests arrive at the convention or meeting space. Your leadership will empower our hotel teams to strive for excellence and cultivate repeat business, leaving a lasting impression on every guest experience. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve hotel revenue targets. You will lead and manage the sales and marketing team, providing guidance and support to maximize their performance and productivity. Identifying new market opportunities and developing innovative strategies to capture and expand market share will be key responsibilities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders will be crucial for generating business leads and promoting the hotel's services. You will conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, using these findings to inform marketing and sales strategies. Collaborating with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies and maximize revenue potential will also be part of your duties. You will oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, and other promotional activities. Monitoring and analyzing sales and marketing metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement will be essential to your success. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices, and implementing innovative sales and marketing techniques will help keep our hotel ahead of the competition. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to sales and marketing activities, participate actively in annual budget planning, and lead ongoing research in the travel industry to identify market trends and insights for developing innovative marketing strategies or annual Marketing Plans.
