About the position

The Director of Sales at Viva Benefits will lead the transition from a CEO-led, relationship-driven sales approach to a CRM-based, high-volume marketing and sales strategy. This role involves developing scalable strategies to drive new sales while managing a lead base of approximately 400 contacts. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of engaging with numerous new contacts daily, and skilled in building relationships quickly. The position requires disciplined follow-up and ownership of the sales process, with a focus on leveraging technical solutions for outreach and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evolution from a relationship-based, CEO-led sales funnel to a CRM-driven, high-volume sales approach.
  • Drive outreach to 80-160 new prospects weekly via Email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Hold 4-8 sales meetings per week, including discovery calls, product demos, and proposal presentations.
  • Ensure 100% of individual follow-ups (20-40 weekly) are completed within predetermined timeframes.
  • Take full ownership of CRM automation tools to manage leads through every stage of the pipeline.
  • Test marketing strategies across different multifamily personas and balance outreach based on effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to refine messaging and collateral for sales efforts.
  • Dedicate time each week to strategizing and aligning with internal teams and external partners.
  • Spend up to 25% of your time traveling for high-impact sales meetings, conferences, and events.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in sales and/or property management, with a focus on documented evidence of exceptional individual accomplishments.
  • Experience in the broader multifamily or property technology (proptech) space is strongly preferred if no property management experience.
