About the position

The Director of Sales for Retail Banking at Ninth Wave, Inc. is a high-energy, dynamic role focused on driving sales of the company's SaaS platform within the retail banking sector. This position involves identifying sales opportunities with both existing clients and new prospects, collaborating with various teams to deliver value, and managing the entire sales cycle to contribute to the company's revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Build a pipeline of prospects through thoughtful and aggressive prospecting, and upsell/cross-sell to the existing customer base in the retail banking space.
• Sell the value and benefits of Ninth Wave to senior executives in retail banking.
• Effectively communicate retail banking business and technical needs, identifying the best solutions that provide business value to prospective clients.
• Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to initial meetings, contract negotiation, and closing, driving revenue.
• Collaborate with the extended team (solutions engineer, legal, finance, executive leadership) throughout the sales process and maintain constant communication to support closings.
• Provide client feedback to contribute to product refinement and feature functionality to meet client needs.

Requirements

• Seven (7+) years of experience selling SaaS solutions to retail banks.
• Demonstrated ability to close business and consistently exceed targets.
• Exceptional ability to quickly build a prospect pipeline and create/expand existing networks.
• Goal-oriented approach with customer-centric/solution selling principles and methods.
• Natural ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to optimize for company outcomes.
• Experience in a start-up/high-growth firm preferred.
• Ability to travel.

• Experience representing the company in trade shows to promote the company and build relationships for new revenue.
