About the position

The Director of Sales leads the sales and marketing efforts for the campus, playing a crucial role in developing and executing sales strategies aimed at meeting revenue targets. This position is responsible for nurturing current leads, generating new qualified leads, and increasing community and professional awareness of the campus. The Director will work closely with the sales team to ensure that all efforts align with the overall goals of the organization, focusing on both Health Center and Senior Living services. In this role, the Director of Sales will manage the sales process by understanding the needs of prospective residents and educating them about the benefits of the campus programs and services. This includes increasing community awareness and reputation through participation in outside events, professional groups, and stakeholder organizations. The Director will utilize established sales processes and systems to track information, compile data, and achieve desired community goals. The Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic, rolling 90-day sales plan that supports the campus goals, using sales data to achieve sales metrics. This includes performing audits on local competitors and providing data to the Trilogy Home Office. The Director will identify and work with local clinical and non-clinical referral partners to develop and convert leads in accordance with sales policies and procedures. Timely follow-up with potential leads is essential, ensuring that the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) is up to date. High-value lead sales activities will be a significant part of the role, including conducting tours, home visits, campus meals, and events aimed at moving the sales process forward. The Director will collaborate with the Executive Director to facilitate training and continuous coaching for the Admissions Coordinator, Guest Relations, and any community staff involved in fielding inquiries or conducting tours. Additionally, the Director will manage the community sales and marketing budget and develop an effective internal referral program with residents and families. The Director will also ensure that the campus, including all available apartments, model apartments, common areas, and grounds, are staged, marketable, and aligned with Trilogy Standards. This includes performing daily work orders for maintenance needs that support first impressions and move-in readiness. The Director will analyze business results and the story behind the numbers during monthly business reviews, ensuring that social channels reflect the quality of service offerings. The role requires participation in various committees of the health campus and effective communication during daily stand-up meetings regarding current hot prospects and next steps in the sales process. Finally, the Director will partner with the Home Office marketing team to develop sales tools and messaging that align with strategic sales objectives, while also performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate Degree
  • Experience: 3-5 years in sales or marketing roles
