About the position

The Director of Sales at Sedona - The Wilde Resort and Spa is responsible for leading the sales department to achieve booking goals and maximize property revenue. This role involves managing a small team of sales associates, implementing brand strategies, and fostering long-term customer relationships to meet the hotel's sales objectives. The Director will also evaluate the property's participation in various sales channels and collaborate with the Revenue Management and Sales Support teams to execute action plans and promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales department to achieve booking goals and maximize revenue.
  • Manage and provide day-to-day leadership to a team of sales associates.
  • Implement brand strategies and initiatives in the sales process.
  • Build long-term, value-based customer relationships.
  • Evaluate participation in various sales channels and develop strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales Support teams to execute action plans.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years of hotel sales experience, or a 4-year degree with 2 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in supervising a sales team.
  • Experience in lodging sales and marketing.
  • Progressive career growth in the hotel industry with exceptional performance.
