The Sales Manager is also responsible for responding to inquiries from customers and prospective clients, preparing proposals and confirmations for group bookings, and conducting property tours for potential customers. To ensure smooth operations, the Sales Manager informs other departments of upcoming events and collaborates with them for proper planning. Maintaining an accounts tracing system and customer account files is essential for generating future business. The Sales Manager must adhere to company credit and deposit policies when booking business and is responsible for preparing sales reports and recording sales activities as required. Monitoring guest satisfaction through follow-up surveys and thank you communications is also part of the role, along with meeting or exceeding individual revenue and production goals set by the General Manager.
