About the position

The Director of Security/Account Manager at Vigilant Eye Private Security is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing client relationships and ensuring operational excellence in security services. This position requires a proactive leader who can manage client accounts, lead teams, and maintain high standards of service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service and rapid resolution of issues.
  • Meet regularly with clients for status updates and promptly address concerns.
  • Support new client onboarding, conduct security assessments, and review/update post orders.
  • Develop strategies to improve client satisfaction, grow existing accounts, and foster positive client relationships.
  • Oversee expenditures within account scope, ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained, and staff are trained.
  • Ensure inventory of uniforms, radios, and other equipment, as well as accurate payroll and staff records.
  • Prepare and manage staffing schedules, meeting client requirements while controlling labor costs.
  • Inspect security sites to verify compliance with post orders and client directives.
  • Collaborate with sales to drive business growth and facilitate client contract negotiations.
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-caliber staff, creating a respectful and professional work environment.
  • Lead teams effectively, address staffing coverage needs, and mentor staff to ensure operational success.
  • Monitor budgets, ensure legal compliance, and provide input on company initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience in the security industry (Required)
  • 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of security operations, procedures, and management practices.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and planning abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Service-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to company growth.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • Experience managing schedules for 30+ employees (Preferred)
  • Willingness to work overtime if needed.
