Director of Security Officer/Great Customer Service

About the position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $23.00 per hour. The Security Officer will be responsible for providing security services, planning, scheduling, and overseeing performance at assigned locations. The role involves monitoring and reporting all activity, conducting various types of patrols, and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional security services and ensuring the safety of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and company policies.
• Conduct walking, vehicular, golf cart, and/or bicycle patrols of assigned areas.
• Identify and report security threats, unsafe conditions, or hazards.
• Perform site-specific duties including customer service, loss prevention, and lobby security.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity reports (DAR's).
• Know and implement site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
• Follow all company procedures and maintain acceptable attendance and grooming standards.
• Participate in all required orientation and training programs.
• Respond to incidents during shifts in accordance with Post Orders and the Company's Use of Force Policy.
• Conduct security or support functions as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or prior military experience or college education in the security field is desirable.
• 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred, especially in security, law enforcement, or customer service.
• Possess a valid registration/permit/license required by the state of employment.
• Complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test where required.
• Maintain current active status of all necessary registrations/licenses/permits while on duty.
• May require a current state driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to provide reliable transportation to work on time is required.
• Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to de-escalate situations.
• Energetic and focused personality with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Professional communication skills and good independent judgment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry.
• Prior experience in law enforcement or military service.
