George Fox University is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to serve as the Director for the Undergraduate Healthcare Administration Program, with the position set to commence in January 2025. This role is pivotal in establishing and overseeing a new undergraduate program in healthcare administration, which includes not only the development of the curriculum but also the teaching of various courses within this major. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a comprehensive educational experience that prepares students for careers in healthcare administration, particularly in areas such as Post-Acute Care, Skilled Nursing, Long Term Residential Care, and Senior Living environments. In addition to program development, the Director will engage in teaching responsibilities across a range of healthcare administration courses, including but not limited to health care management, health care policy, health care finance, and health care ethics. The role also involves making internship arrangements for students, ensuring they gain practical experience in the field. The Director will work closely with the advisory board to launch the program successfully and seek necessary accreditations. Furthermore, the individual will be expected to supervise internships, advise students, and participate in various faculty responsibilities, contributing to the overall mission of George Fox University as a Christ-centered community.
