About the position
The Director of Social Work at Complete Care at Corsica Hills is responsible for overseeing the social work department, ensuring high-quality care for residents through the identification of their psycho-social needs. This role involves managing staff, maintaining documentation, and facilitating smooth admission and discharge processes for residents and their families. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and requires a valid CSW or LSW license.
Responsibilities
- Identifies cognitive impairments, mood problems, and other psycho-social needs in residents.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation.
- Review Advanced Directives and provide education to residents and family members as needed.
- Help provide a smooth admission and discharge process for residents and family members.
- Other duties as assigned by Administrator.
Requirements
- Must have an active Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (CSW or LSW).
- Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
- Computer knowledge is required.
- Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
