Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement a multi-year vision and strategy for developing product offerings at Metropolis in partnership with Product Management.
• Establish processes to achieve operational excellence in system reliability while enabling rapid experimentation and data-informed decisions.
• Coach and develop the engineering team to bring out their best performance.
• Drive the hiring of top talent and set the culture within Metropolis Engineering.
• Foster a collaborative environment where the best product and technical ideas are nurtured and realized.
• Manage the delivery of high-impact workflow, dashboard, and data visualization applications.
• Contribute to improving customer-oriented mindset competency across Metropolis.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building customer-centric applications and products.
• Experience scaling and managing teams of 30+ individuals, including senior contributors and managers.
• Experience initiating and driving strategic initiatives.
• Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration in B2C and B2B settings.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and software products for high-volume consumer-facing applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various audiences.
