Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement a multi-year vision and strategy for developing product offerings at Metropolis in partnership with Product Management.
• Establish processes to achieve operational excellence in system reliability while enabling rapid experimentation and data-informed decisions.
• Coach and mentor the engineering team to maximize their potential and performance.
• Drive the hiring of top talent and cultivate a strong engineering culture within Metropolis.
• Manage the delivery of high-impact workflow, dashboard, and data visualization applications.
• Enhance customer-oriented mindset competency across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building customer-centric applications and products.
• Experience scaling and managing teams of 30+ individuals, including senior individual contributors and managers.
• Proven track record of initiating and driving strategic initiatives.
• Successful cross-functional collaboration experience in B2C and B2B settings.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and software products for high-volume consumer-facing applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
