As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Bank Global Customer Platform Technology Team, you will be at the forefront of driving impact across various teams, technologies, and projects. This role requires a seasoned software engineering leader who is ready to take charge and lead multiple agile software delivery teams. You will partner closely with Product partners to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that leverage modern technologies, including cloud-backed APIs and microservices, utilizing distributed database technologies. Your in-depth knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management will be crucial in managing complex projects and initiatives, making you a primary decision-maker for your teams. In this position, you will provide leadership and high-level direction to your teams, frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple areas. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of technology delivery, ensuring that the teams are aligned with the functional technology objectives. Your role will also involve making critical decisions that influence team resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures. You will carry governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success, such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations. Additionally, you will deliver technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains, influencing peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams.
