As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Bank Global Customer Platform Technology Team, you will lead a technical area and drive significant impact across teams, technologies, and projects. This role requires an in-depth understanding of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to effectively manage multiple complex projects and initiatives. You will serve as a primary decision maker for your teams, driving innovation and ensuring successful solution delivery. In this position, you will manage multiple agile software delivery teams and collaborate closely with Product partners to ensure effective technology delivery. Your responsibilities will include delivering solutions that leverage modern technologies such as cloud-backed APIs and microservices, utilizing distributed database technologies. You will oversee all aspects of technology delivery, providing leadership and high-level direction to teams while managing employee populations across various areas. You will lead technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives, making decisions that influence team resources, budgets, tactical operations, and the execution of processes and procedures. Additionally, you will carry governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success, including cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations. Your role will also involve delivering technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains, influencing peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams.
