About the position

The Director of Software Engineering at ICF will lead software projects and manage a team of software developers within the Health Analytics, Research, and Technology (HART) Line of Business. This strategic role involves mentoring engineers, architecting technical solutions, and ensuring the performance of mission-critical applications for federal clients, particularly in health research and technology. The position also includes business development responsibilities and requires staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with software development languages (Javascript, Java, Python, R)
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of AI/ML
• 5+ years managing others
• Experience working with Federal clients particularly in HHS
