About the position
The Director of Software Engineering at Insight Global will lead the development of provider-facing applications within the company's digital ecosystem. This role involves strategic technology and business discussions, advocating for advanced technology and best practices. As a key leadership team member, the director will collaborate with various departments, manage budgets, oversee project timelines, and ensure effective team execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of provider-facing applications within the digital ecosystem.
- Participate in strategic technology and business discussions.
- Advocate for leading-edge technology and domain practices.
- Align with Product Management, Customer Support, Professional Services, and Platform teams.
- Oversee budget management, roadmaps, timelines, and overall team execution.
Requirements
- Hands-on technical background that transitioned into leadership.
- 1+ year of director-level experience overseeing upper management/senior managers.
- Experience designing, building, and managing distributed systems at a global scale.
- Hands-on experience in at least 2 of the following: Unix/Linux, Distributed Systems, AWS/GCP, Kubernetes/Container platforms-based software development.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry or enterprise-level organizations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience developing mobile applications.
