About the position
The Spa Manager at Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Spa department, ensuring adherence to brand standards and guest satisfaction. This role involves managing daily operations, maintaining equipment, supervising staff, and coordinating spa events to enhance sales and community engagement. The Spa Manager will also handle customer feedback, maintain accurate records, and ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to Franchise and Shaner Brand Standards for guest experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and report concerns to the Spa Director.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on guest requests and comments.
- Accurately create and maintain Spa services in the spa computer systems.
- Assist with coordination of spa events for sales generation and community awareness.
- Submit all paperwork and financial reporting in accordance with policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
- Recommend retail products and suggestively sell spa services.
- Supervise, train, and manage all Spa staff.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Hospitality, Exercise Science, Health Education, Business, or related field.
- Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel and/or spa supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of professional spa services and treatments is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
- Computer experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certified preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
- Efficient, well organized, and able to handle multiple duties simultaneously.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational with a professional manner.
