About The Position

The Director of Special Events and Promotions for the Las Vegas Region at Caesars Entertainment is responsible for overseeing the Special Events and Promotions Team, ensuring high standards of execution for various gaming events. This role involves acting as a liaison with multiple departments, managing event logistics, and maintaining positive relationships with management and vendors. The director will also be responsible for compliance with gaming regulations and fostering a culture of integrity within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, events & promotions, business, operations management, or related field.
• 2+ years of marketing/event experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and react well under pressure.
• Leadership skills to motivate staff and set examples in guest service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in casino marketing or related fields.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the gaming industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Special Events and Promotions Team to ensure accurate and high standards of execution.
• Act as liaison for VP of Special Events with various departments related to Casino Marketing Projects.
• Manage all aspects of research, design, planning, coordination, execution, and post-evaluation of gaming events.
• Monitor event responses and hotel room pickup, adjusting blocks accordingly.
• Ensure widespread communication to properties on Special Events and Promotions.
• Attend all Events and Promotions in the market and interact with key customers.
• Maintain positive working relationships with management, event staff, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with Gaming rules and regulations as set by the State Gaming Control Board and Nevada Gaming Commission.
• Coach and develop the Events and Promotions team to meet service initiatives.
• Prepare submissions required by the Nevada Gaming Control Board and other compliance teams.
• Plan and schedule work activities for the Special Event Team.
