About the position

The Director of Strategic Sales and Project Management at Norfolk Southern Corp. is responsible for planning, directing, and managing complex sales projects that involve multiple teams and stakeholders. This role focuses on executing and delivering sales initiatives that align with the company's strategy and budget, ensuring timely project completion and effective collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and deliver complex sales initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage several projects with a minimum value of $10M/year, assigned by the VP/GVP.
  • Ensure sales projects are delivered on time and within the company's strategy and budget framework.
  • Assign work to internal stakeholders to execute the project.
  • Report to the VP or GVP.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of job-related experience (minimum level).
  • 11-15 years of job-related experience (preferred level).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (required).
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (preferred).
