About the position

The Director of Strategy, Operations and Communications at Olympus Corporation of the Americas is responsible for driving internal and external communications strategies for the global organization, particularly within the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QARA) sector. This role involves enhancing the brand, providing consistent messaging, and managing complex communication plans to support major projects and initiatives. The director will also track organizational metrics and project manage various deliverables as part of the Strategy and Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a communication strategy to support the Corporate Quality Office and Regulatory Affairs.
• Develop and manage multi-faceted communications plans for internal and external audiences.
• Build and strengthen internal communications to drive employee engagement and culture.
• Partner with leadership to develop key materials for Board of Directors and other engagements.
• Manage and track key organizational metrics and analyze data for executive leadership.
• Project manage ad hoc projects and deliverables as part of the Strategy and Operations team.
• Develop and maintain reporting metrics to determine the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, PR, Communications, or equivalent required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Corporate Communications or Public Relations in a regulated environment.
• Expertise in written communications, including writing, editing, and proofreading.
• Extensive knowledge of communications platforms and outlets.
