The Director of Subscriptions, Lifecycle Marketing at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is a pivotal role responsible for driving subscription retention, acquisition, and win-back strategies to meet sales goals and marketing objectives. This position is essential in enhancing the brand experience for customers and requires a master of conversion marketing, including direct response marketing and CRM strategies. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of both strategic thinking and tactical execution, and will be adept at creative messaging strategies. Analytical skills are crucial, as the Director will need to examine data to identify insights and trends that inform data-driven decisions aimed at optimizing subscription acquisition and retention processes. In this role, the Director will work cross-functionally to lead campaigns that aim to retain and increase subscription households and revenue. Collaborating closely with the VP of Growth, the Director will manage CRM campaigns to acquire new subscribers, upgrade existing ticket buyers, and retain current subscribers. Additionally, the Director will partner with the Vice President of Data Analytics & Revenue Operations to leverage data intelligence for informed decision-making, ensuring that the right messages reach the right customers at the right time. This position is key to driving subscription revenue and enhancing customer relationships, ultimately reducing churn and increasing lifetime value. The Director will also oversee the development and production of subscription direct mail materials, create promotions to retain and upgrade subscribers, and develop relationship strategies that encompass both short-term improvements and long-term strategic roadmaps. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of customer segmentation and the ability to analyze customer profiles to develop effective multi-channel communication strategies. The Director will ensure that brand standards are consistently maintained across all communication platforms and will participate in event duties as required.
