The Director, Supply Chain Analytics is a leader with a demonstrated ability to implement capacity/supply planning methodologies, process mapping, and address complex business problems by applying advanced analytics to drive data-driven decision-making. This position plays a key role in the implementation of the information management strategy and analytics for the supply chain organization. The Director will work to develop prototypes and production-ready complex algorithms and implement models following the business intelligence strategy for the Supply Chain organization for reporting, demand forecasting, supply planning, production planning/scheduling, delivery planning, and network optimization. In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives for network capacity within SSB business units, focusing on optimizing and managing the flow of goods and services in the supply chain network. You will manage cross-functional network capacity initiatives, ensure continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy, and oversee the Supply Chain Organization's plant service area. Additionally, you will develop an optimal operational map considering demand, supply, capacity, labor, production, and logistics costs. Monitoring performance by evaluating staffing needs relative to production volumes, assessing productivity potential, and resolving issues will be key responsibilities. You will also analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements. As a leader, you will build and lead a team to achieve business area or category objectives, maintaining team motivation, engagement, and succession planning while supporting career development and overall leadership and change management. You will identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop project plans, create and implement new processes, manage prototypes, and production-ready algorithms, and oversee testing and validation, collaborating with advanced analytics experts to develop new data analysis techniques. Executing the business intelligence strategy for the supply chain organization and applying advanced analytics to solve complex business problems will be essential to making strategic recommendations based on data analysis and collaborating with stakeholders across different departments and levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field, including people leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working directly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or any quantitative field.
