About the position

The Director of Supply Chain at Belt Power LLC is responsible for optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring effective coordination from product procurement to final delivery. This role involves leading a team of supply chain professionals, collaborating with various departments, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards in conveyor belt fabrication and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of the supply chain.
• Balance inventory network to maximize turnover, profitability, and utilization.
• Streamline logistics operations for efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution of all product categories.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain high-quality standards throughout the supply chain.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and finance teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, such as disruptions, delays, or quality issues.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations and regularly analyze performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 10+ years of Supply Chain experience including purchasing, sourcing, logistics, and inventory management.
• 5+ years of Supply Chain management experience in roles of increased responsibility.
• Experience managing Supply Chain activities for a national multi-site organization.
• Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution of industrial products.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and other supply chain management tools.
