The Director of Talent Acquisition for the Americas Region at VF Corporation is responsible for implementing strategies and processes to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the Americas. This leadership role involves overseeing a team of recruiters, collaborating with business leaders to identify talent needs, and ensuring a compliant and effective recruitment process that aligns with the company's strategic priorities. The position emphasizes operational excellence, talent branding, and driving inclusion and diversity in hiring practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition team to ensure operational excellence and efficient hiring across the Americas Region.
  • Consult with business leaders and the People & Culture Team to identify talent needs and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Partner with HR leaders and external stakeholders to align Talent Acquisition programs with regional business needs.
  • Utilize data and metrics to drive key performance indicators and continuously improve hiring processes.
  • Drive talent branding messages and campaigns across various candidate touch points.
  • Optimize recruiting processes to ensure exceptional candidate experiences throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement strategic goals that support the overall strategic plan of the Americas region.
  • Lead and grow a team of 20 recruiters, enhancing their recruiting skills and engagement.
  • Stay responsive to changes in the talent market and innovate recruitment practices.
  • Drive Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Action (IDEA) efforts to ensure a diverse candidate pool.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of talent acquisition experience in a corporate environment.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading a team of recruiters and recruiting leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexible and adaptable leader who thrives in a collaborative, global environment.
  • Outstanding people management skills with a proven ability to coach and develop recruiters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.

Nice-to-haves
