About the position

The Director of Talent Acquisition at Nebraska Medicine is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the organization's long-term workforce goals. This role is crucial in attracting, sourcing, and retaining top talent to meet both immediate and future staffing needs. The Director will collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to drive strategic workforce planning and lead a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, ensuring compliance in all recruiting and hiring processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy.
  • Attract, source, and retain top talent to meet staffing needs.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads for strategic workforce planning.
  • Drive sourcing and talent attraction strategies.
  • Lead a high-performing Talent Acquisition team.
  • Ensure compliance in all recruiting and hiring processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
  • At least 3 years experience in a leadership role within a complex organization.
  • Proven experience in workforce planning and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of diversity recruiting and employer branding strategies.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across departments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
  • Working knowledge of governmental employment regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Affirmative Action requirements preferred.
  • Previous experience in developing presentations and training preferred.
  • Professional Human Resource (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resource certification preferred.
