About the position

The Director of Transformations for the Oncology Service Line at OU Health is responsible for leading operational transformation initiatives within the cancer services department. This role involves managing resources, designing systems for operational implementation, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. The director will oversee project plans, collaborate with stakeholders, and engage with executive leaders to drive transformation initiatives in the ambulatory oncology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational transformation initiatives and manage resources supporting these projects.
  • Design systems and processes for managing operational implementation projects, including clinic integrations and new partnerships.
  • Oversee the creation of project plans to track critical milestones and coordinate resources.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with OU Health Finance to ensure project plans align with approved scope and budget.
  • Lead program development to transform the ambulatory oncology environment, focusing on employee engagement and training.
  • Identify and master reporting tools for transparency and accountability in tracking outcomes.
  • Create reports and use analytics to drive decisions related to operational implementations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support an inclusive environment for operational work.
  • Engage with executive leaders to provide regular updates on transformation initiatives.
  • Align planned deliverables with OU Health's strategic priorities.
  • Manage, coach, and develop staff reporting to this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare or related field required.
  • 3+ years of clinical operations experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare trends and integrates them into strategic planning.
  • Evidence of success in leading key business initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a project from ideation through to implementation.
  • Experience making data-driven decisions and managing multiple tasks with competing timelines.
  • History of working cross-functionally to move projects forward.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
