About the position

The Director of Treatment Development (DTD) is a key member of the Corporate Clinical Team, responsible for enhancing treatment methodologies and ensuring exceptional care for clients and families. This role involves overseeing multiple clinics within a designated region, promoting quality care, and ensuring compliance with treatment standards and documentation. The DTD collaborates with various teams to monitor clinical metrics, provide mentorship, and support the development of treatment initiatives, ultimately aiming to improve treatment outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee adherence by clinical staff members to company core values, mission, and vision through treatment protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate on the development of measures of treatment fidelity and quality assurance to optimize client outcomes.
  • Serve as the region's support for case reviews, providing guidance and mentorship to Treatment Directors and BCBAs.
  • Provide on-site support to ensure the competence of assigned BCBAs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical initiatives and treatment programs across the region.
  • Participate in Clinical Team meetings to share insights and contribute to ongoing program improvement efforts.
  • Engage in permanent product development across clinical processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Mentor clinicians through ICAN's BCBA career pathing.
  • Develop and ensure progress through BCBA training plans and Student Apprentice Fieldwork.
  • Conduct onboarding training and development of Treatment Directors and BCBAs in the region.
  • Analyze data of clinical metrics and client outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and oversee support plans for clinics to improve their metrics and remediation plans as needed.
  • Provide billable support to clinics to meet quality metrics.
  • Identify supports for clinics in overseeing client care and provide case management support as needed.
  • Assist with responding to parent concerns and provide support as needed.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, early childhood education, special education, psychology, or related field.
  • Certified and licensed as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for 4+ years.
  • Extensive experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities.
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and best practices.
  • Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
