About the position

The Director of U.S. Commercial Marketing at Johnson & Johnson will lead marketing strategies to drive patient adoption and revenue growth for the Abiomed Team. This remote position focuses on leveraging market research, marketing communications, and product marketing to enhance sales and address unmet clinical needs in the healthcare sector. The role requires collaboration with key opinion leaders and clinicians to develop effective messaging and marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a US direct and matrixed marketing team to implement strategic and tactical marketing programs.
  • Drive global demand generation and increase win rate.
  • Build positioning, messaging, and content on multiple platforms.
  • Establish and monitor metrics to ensure marketing strategies, programs, and activities are executed effectively and delivering impact.
  • Establish and implement campaign channel strategy for outbound marketing with a strong focus on leveraging digital channels.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement global content and campaigns.
  • Implement standard work and communications to maintain global and regional marketing team alignment.
  • Understand regional market dynamics to drive global marketing strategy.
  • Develop messaging designed to drive adoption, promote best practices, and address barriers.
  • Write value propositions, positioning, and messaging.
  • Write subject matter for core marketing and sales collateral.
  • Drive creation of competitive differentiated positioning based on deep understanding of customers.
  • Grow market visibility and improve therapy awareness.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10+ years marketing experience.
  • 3+ years managing teams.
  • Solid business acumen and knowledge of the medical device market environment.
  • A bachelor's degree is required; MBA degree is preferred.
  • Marketing experience in the cardiology space is strongly preferred.
  • Very strong PowerPoint skills are essential.
  • Digital marketing experience.
