About the position

The Associate Director of Operations Finance will play a critical role in supporting the manufacturing and research & development (R&D) functions at Antech Diagnostics. This senior-level position is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting to drive operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial management within a manufacturing and R&D context and demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's manufacturing and R&D goals.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and investment.
  • Oversee the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions related to manufacturing and R&D.
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, including cost structures, capital expenditures, and project-specific financials.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including variance analysis and operational performance reviews.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for manufacturing and R&D functions, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Develop detailed financial models to support decision-making and assess the financial impact of operational changes and new product development.
  • Partner with Project Management Organization (PMO) to develop and track specific project budgets and resource allocations.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new projects, processes, and technologies.
  • Partner with operations, manufacturing, engineering, and R&D teams to support financial and strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between finance and other departments to ensure alignment and address financial implications of operational decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect company assets and financial health.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting or related field.
  • Master's degree or CPA a plus.
  • 10 years' experience in Finance or Accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in business partnership finance.
  • Working technical knowledge of manufacturing, research and development.
  • Computer literacy and proficient with MS office applications.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new programs and procedures.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent follow through skills.
  • Effective listening skills.
