About the position
The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and managing physician practice operations. This role requires a proven ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate effectively within the Operations Department and with other support departments. The Director must understand the corporate implications of subtle detail changes and identify and implement cross-functional process improvements. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to track issues and ensure resolution. The position also requires the ability to read, analyze, interpret, and utilize complex business documents, contracts, regulations, policies, and procedures. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are critical for success in this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care, or equivalent experience required
- 5-7 years of previous experience in physician practice operations
- Previous supervisory experience required
