About the position

The Director of Operations at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region plays a crucial role in leading and coordinating system-wide initiatives and priorities across various operating groups. This position requires collaboration with senior leaders to enhance operational efficiency and ensure a team-centered approach that aligns with the organization's mission of serving diverse communities. The Director will act as a key staff member to the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, driving accountability and transparency in operations while fostering a culture of urgency and innovation in healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior vice presidents, group presidents, and entity CEOs to tackle system-wide initiatives.
• Coordinate and lead services and initiatives that cross over operating group lines.
• Act as staff to the system's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
• Ensure a team-centered approach that prioritizes team success over individual interests.
• Demonstrate accountability to the community, associates, physicians, and sponsors for performance outcomes.
• Create change through bold thoughts and actions that generate urgency in healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• 3 years of leadership experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Master's degree required.
