About the position

The Director of Oracle Cloud Applications at Teradata is responsible for establishing and driving the strategic vision and delivery of Oracle Fusion capabilities globally. This role involves developing a business-aligned application strategy, overseeing end-to-end implementations, and managing a team of professionals across development, support, and project management. The director will leverage Oracle Cloud technology to enhance business processes, ensure compliance, and drive innovation while maintaining high availability and performance of Oracle Cloud Applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall Oracle Cloud Fusion ecosystem including ERP, EPM, and Financial modules.
• Lead the SDLC process for the Oracle Cloud Platform.
• Serve as a key Oracle cloud technology leader, influencing solution architecture.
• Oversee data quality, system integration, and solution personalization efforts.
• Identify strategic improvement opportunities aligned with business imperatives.
• Provide subject matter expertise on industry trends and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and develop contingency plans.
• Manage platform security posture and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Oversee integrations with the Oracle Cloud technology ecosystem.
• Partner with global IT organization to manage boundary systems.
• Offer strategies around AI technologies to drive efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Project/Program Managers on initiatives.
• Coach and mentor employees for career development.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of Oracle Cloud Applications.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 7-10+ years of experience with Oracle cloud applications and platform technologies.
• 3-5+ years at director level or above with a proven track record of leading global technology teams.
• 10+ years of experience leading large-scale cloud solutions and systems consolidations.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion cloud platforms (EPM, ERP, Financials).
• Advanced technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud platform configurations.
