About the position

The Director of Outlets is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of restaurants, bars, and room service within the organization. This role focuses on enhancing guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance. The Director will manage staff, ensure compliance with sanitation and service standards, and lead initiatives for continuous improvement in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and manages employees in the restaurant and bar areas.
  • Manages all day-to-day operations of the outlets.
  • Maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge, and room service areas.
  • Reviews staffing levels to meet guest service and operational needs.
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead and influence team members.
  • Encourages mutual trust and respect among team members.
  • Identifies developmental needs of staff and provides coaching and mentoring.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize and organize work.
  • Ensures compliance with food & beverage policies and applicable laws.
  • Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.
  • Handles guest problems and complaints, ensuring corrective action is taken.
  • Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to solve problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
  • At least 4 years of related experience required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High level of customer service skills.
  • Ability to focus on details and resolve numerical problems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and Federal liquor laws.
